Robert Daniels paints beyond the boundaries of convention. He gets up to historical and contemporary issues that have a direct relationship with its African ancestors. He works on canvas, paper, cloth, wood, clay and other materials of daily use. Mixing his use of color, iconic figures, paints, oil pastels and pen and ink. Daniels builds images that are bold yet extraordinarily complicated and refined .The result are paintings that breathe bright colors and unforgettable images. Robert Daniels was born in Mount Vernon, New York. He attended college with an athletic scholarship and graduated from Herbert H Lehman College has a BA in Studio Art and a MA in Art Education.
